Should I try to fix my own electric gates?
Absolutely not! Electric gates can be very dangerous. Only let a competent person fix your gates.

Why do you charge a call out fee?
We charge a call out fee so our engineers can spend time trying to fix your gates. Our engineers will spend up to an hour trying to fix your gates.  If they cannot be fixed immediately we will diagnose the fault and let you know what needs to be replaced. We will always give you a written quote and await your consent before we start any additional work .

Can we buy our own parts and you will install it for us?
We do not generally install parts purchased by the customer.  We cannot provide a guarantee if we have not purchased the parts.  There are also many fake and faulty parts online.

Can you program key fobs for us?
Yes we can.  There are many variations so please let us buy the correct ones for you.

Do slugs and insects really short circuit control panels?
Yes they do!  It is our number one problem when it comes to faulty gates.  We try everything to keep the slugs and insects out but this is why its so important to have your gates serviced regularly.

What is the best gate Automation brand?
There are many gate automation makes out there and some are absolutely rubbish!  In no particular order our preferred makes are FAAC, BFT, CAME, NICE.

Are electric gates easy to fix?
No! Electric gates are not easy to fix there are hundreds of components that make up your gate automation system.  It takes experience and knowledge to fix gates properly .  Our gate engineers are all qualified electricians and qualified gate engineers.

Do we have to have all the safety features on gates?
Absolutely not only is it madness not to have a completely safe electric gate system. It is also the law!

Are your engineers fully qualified to fix electric gates?
Yes! Our gate engineers are some of the most experienced gate engineers in the country!  We have been fully trained by the gate manufacturers directly to install and fix their  products.  We are also fully qualified electricians.
